TECHNOLOGY
Where is your datacenter located?

ThinknetMail's primary, Tier-One datacenter is housed in the New York City metropolitan area and has guards 24x7x365 and bulletproof walls.

How do I log in to my account?

Simply browse to login.ThinknetMail.com and click on "Sign In". This will bring you to the login page where you can enter your username and password, allowing you to have access to your ThinknetMail account with all of your essential business information.

What happens if someone other than me tries to log into my account?

Every user password is stored in an encrypted, non-reversible hash format. Once a password is hashed it is the compare to the encrypted version, but the original password can never be decrypted. This prevents unauthorized attempts to access passwords for any user. If someone attempts to make 5 invalid attempts to log in, your account will be "locked". A user can then either contact a ThinknetMail Representative or click the "Forgot Your Password?" link on the login page where you will be asked a series of questions to reset your password.

What types of encryption processes does ThinknetMail use to keep my data secure?

The biggest concern for ThinknetMail is the data of our customers. Each user account is only accessible via a password-protected and Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encrypted connection. All passwords are store using advanced one-way hash tables to prevent access. All data is stored in a storage area network with a real-time mirror of all data. A backup system provides the third copy that is stored on a robotic tape-based backup system allowing long-term data protection. Hardware and software Checkpoint redundant firewalls along with strong encryption using the new Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) and 168-bit Triple-DES ensure that data is never compromised.
